The Park is strategicially located in the geographic center of Mexico in the State of Quereatro, on the Queretaro-Bernal highway, on km 28. —Only 125 miles from Mexico City, 24 miles from Queretaro, and 13 miles from the international airport of Queretaro. The Park is situated at 1900 meters above sea level and it enjoys optimal year-round weather conditions for the production and harvest of flowers and horticulture, 365 days a year. The average yearly temperature is 30 Cº, with relatively low humidity and lows averaging 6 Cº. Yearly precipitation averages at 500 mm.
5. Services and support
The Park has all of the necessary resources, infrastructure and guaranteed assurances for its operation, which extend to its installations and the well management of the green houses. Specifically: water, energy, natural gas, telephone and internal urbanization.
In addition, the Park has a central administrator that coordinates internal security as well as the proper functioning of the infrastructure and the negotiation of general permits and paperwork with the relevant authorities. All of this, with the sole purpose of facilitating the immediate installation of the green houses and their optimal operation.
6. Water supply and distribution
The development has a hidraulic web system that helps to distribute water and to efficiently channel it where needed. This consists of 4 deep water wells with rights and capacity of 4 million m3. It also has a web of rainwater and drainage channels. Guidelines stipulate that each greenhouse must have a reserve of four days, as well as recycle the water that it uses for irrigation and the treatment of residual waters.
